Welcome
Robofest is offering a Video Submission Site for teams who are
unable to travel to a Robofest 2007 Regional or
International Qualifying Site. Teams must register for the Video Submission
site in the Robofest Official Registration
System.
Submit a video of their team’s performance in all Competition
Categories: Games, Exhibition, VEX
Pentathlon,
RoboSumo, and RoboFashionShow. All videos must be submitted with the
Robofest Video Submission Form that can be
downloaded from the Robofest web site at http://www.robofest.net/2007/RobofestVideoSubForm.doc.
The video itself can be made by adults and the following is
the suggested video format:
- Start
with the team and team member introduction, around 5 seconds for each
member.
- Select
one question from the list of sample questions found on the Robofest site
and answer within 45 seconds.
- The
video should not be edited, once the game or demo is started.
- Game
teams should include two games matches, with each game being no longer
than 2 minutes.
- Rolling
credit and/or acknowledgement (recommended)
- VEX,
RoboSumo, Exhibition and RoboFashionShow videos should not exceed 4
minutes.
- Acceptable
video media: VHS, CD with video file, Video CD, or DVD
The team Coach must submit a signed Robofest Video
Submission Form when sending the video to LTU.
All video submissions,
with signed submission form, must be
postmarked by the deadline, April 13, 2007.

Date/Time: Video Submissions with
Video Submission Form Must be Postmarked by April 13,
2007. Teams
must register for the Video Submission Site in the Robofest Registration
System.

Robofest Coach
& Team Registration
Veteran
Robofest (2003, 2004, 2005, or 2006) coaches can use their prior coach ID and
password. If you forgot your old coach ID,
send an
email to lbirman@ltu.edu if you forgot
your password, please click on this link www.robofest.org/ControllerServlet?action=ReqForgotPWForm
.
Veteran
coaches should have received an email with their old ID and password. Returning coaches can enter teams and select
competition locations.
If you do
not have a Robofest coach ID and password, please register as a Robofest Coach
on the registration link below. Then you will
receive an email with
a coach ID. You must confirm the coach registration by clicking a link in the
email; otherwise the coach registration
has not
been completed. If you do not receive the confirmation email, contact lbirman@ltu.edu to resolve the problem. Once you are
successfully registered as a Coach, you may enter your team(s) and select
competition location.
The
Registration fee for each team is $40 on the web using PayPal. If you have a
PayPal account, please be prepared to enter PayPal
user name
and password. However, you may pay the fee without setting up an account with
PayPal or you may mail a check to Lawrence
Technological University Robofest, 21000 West 10 Mile Rd., Southfield,
MI 48075. Make the check payable to Lawrence
Tech University / Robofest.
