In 1986, Poinsett Middle School in Cocoa, Florida, was renamed Ronald McNair Middle School in honor of Challenger

Astronaut, Dr. Ronald McNair. Our motto, "It takes a Team to Build a Dream," is in keeping with the spirit of our namesake,

who built his dream with plenty of hard work, but not without the help of others along the way. In 1990, we became McNair

Magnet School, attracting students from all over Brevard County for our special math, science, technology and gifted programs.

In 2004, we added a Performing Arts Magnet, McNair Magnet School makes each student a winner by preparing an innovative

curriculum design and state-of-the-art educational technology through involvement of students, parents, staff and the community,

so that each student reaches maximum potential to become a productive individual in today's changing society. The McNair

Magnet School location is being organized by Florida Robotics.

Robofest Coach & Team Registration

Veteran Robofest (2003, 2004, or 2005) coaches can use their prior coach ID and password. If you forgot your old coach ID, send an

Veteran coaches should have received an email with their old ID and password. Returning coaches can enter teams and select competition

locations.

If you do not have a Robofest coach ID and password, please register as a Robofest Coach on the registration link below. Then you will receive

an email with a coach ID. You must confirm the coach registration by clicking a link in the email; otherwise the coach registration has not been

completed. If you do not receive the confirmation email contact chung@LTU.edu to resolve the problem. Once you are successfully registered

as a Coach, you may enter your team(s) and select competition location.

The Registration fee for each team is $35 on the web using PayPal. If you have a PayPal account, please be prepared to enter PayPal user

name and password. However, you may pay the fee without setting up an account with PayPal or you may mail a check to Lawrence Technological

University Robofest, 21000 West 10 Mile Rd., Southfield, MI 48075. Make the check payable to Lawrence Tech University / Robofest.
